I check my phone and see that I have a few new emails and a few new Instagram notifications. I scroll through my feed for a few minutes before getting up to get ready for the day.

9:00 AM – I take a quick shower, get dressed, and head out the door. I live in a walkable neighborhood, so I don’t need to take public transportation or drive to get where I’m going. I make my way to a nearby breakfast spot for a quick bite before starting my work day.

10:00 AM – I arrive at my office, which is located in the West Loop. I say hi to my coworkers and settle in at my desk. I spend the next few hours working on various projects.

12:00 PM – I take a break for lunch and head to a nearby restaurant for a quick bite. I love the West Loop because there are so many great places to eat!

1:00 PM – I head back to the office and continue working on various projects.

5:00 PM – I wrap up my work day and head home. I live close to my office, so I’m able to walk home.

6:00 PM – I arrive home and make myself a quick dinner. I then spend a few hours relaxing, watching TV, and scrolling through social media.

9:00 PM – I start to get tired, so I head to bed. I spend a few minutes reading before falling asleep.

5:00 pm – Finish up work and head home.

6:00 pm – Make dinner. Tonight, I’m trying a new recipe for roasted chicken.

7:00 pm – Catch up on some TV. I’m currently binge-watching The Office for the second time.

9:00 pm – Head to bed and read for a bit before falling asleep.

I start my day with a cup of coffee at one of the many great cafes in the neighborhood. Then it’s off to the gym for a quick workout. After that, it’s time to head to work. I work in the Loop, so I usually take the train or bus to get there.

After a long day at work, I like to unwind with a glass of wine at one of the many great restaurants in the West Loop. There are so many great places to choose from, it’s hard to decide where to go! After dinner, I might head to a bar for a nightcap, or catch a show at one of the many theaters in the neighborhood.
